TERMS & CONDITIONS

These General Terms and Conditions govern your stay at Marine Bay Colombo, located at 26, Palmyrah Avenue, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka. By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Reservations & Payment

  • Reservations can be made via our website, email, phone, or through authorized third-party platforms.
  • A valid credit card is required to guarantee your booking.
  • Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the rate plan.
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Confirmed bookings will not be affected by rate changes.

2. Check-In / Check-Out Policy

  • Check-in time: 2:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 12:00 Noon
  • Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo ID (Passport, NIC) and the credit card used for the reservation upon check-in.

3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate selected. Please refer to your booking confirmation.
  • No-shows will be charged the full amount of the stay or as per the agreed terms.
  • For group bookings (more than 5 rooms), customized cancellation policies may apply.

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

  • Behave respectfully toward staff and other guests.
  • Keep noise to a minimum, especially from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
  • Avoid damage to hotel property; any damages will be charged to the guest.
  • Comply with all local laws and hotel policies during their stay.

5. Children & Extra Beds

  • Extra beds or baby cots are available on request, subject to availability and additional charges.

6. Smoking Policy

Marine Bay Colombo is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.

7. Dry Hotel Policy

At Marine Bay Colombo, we are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests. As part of our commitment to maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere, we operate as a Dry Hotel.

No Alcohol Consumption

The consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in public areas and event spaces. Alcohol consumption is only permitted inside guest rooms.

Guest Compliance

All guests and visitors are expected to comply with this policy during their stay. Violation of this policy may result in immediate eviction from the premises without a refund.

Awareness

By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to our dry hotel policy.

8. Pets

  • Pets are not allowed at the property.

9. Parking

Complimentary parking is available for guests, subject to availability. The hotel is not responsible for damage or theft involving vehicles parked on-site.

10. Liability Disclaimer

  • The hotel is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
  • Use of hotel facilities (e.g., gym) is at the guest’s own risk.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or political unrest.

11. Privacy

Guest data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal information is collected and used.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo.
